Pastor Peter Saiful and his siblings are Under Threat in Bangladesh Camps, UNHCR Transit Center

Dear brothers and sisters in Christ,

We humbly ask you to join us in prayer for Pastor Peter Saiful, his siblings, and their families, who are facing serious and ongoing threats to their safety.

On Friday, August 7, Pastor Peter Saiful and his siblings experienced another serious death threat from a member of an armed group who entered their shelter inside the UNHCR Protection (Transit) Center in Kutupalong, Ukhiya, Cox’s Bazar, Bangladesh.

Please pray that God will protect Pastor Peter, his siblings, and their families from every danger and from those who seek to harm them. Pray that the Lord will surround them with His mighty protection, give them courage in the midst of fear, and grant them peace and strength.

Please also pray for justice, accountability, and effective protection. May the authorities take this situation seriously and act quickly to protect those who are at risk.

Pastor Peter serves the Lord and the Rohingya Christian community despite facing threats because of his Christian faith and his work. Let us stand with him and his family in prayer.
